Founded in 1946 by Luigi Bormioli who had a strong will and determination. Luigi Bormioli started out selling glass bottles for the perfume industry. All Luigi Bormioli crystal is blown glass crystal made with elegance, tradition, practicality and functionality.

In 1973, the company started producing blown glass crystal tableware.

In 1985, Luigi Bormioli began sales in the international markets. Today, international sales represent more than three quarters of the company's total sales.

Today, Luigi Bormioli is a strong leader in the perfume bottle market with tableware following. They employ over 1000 employees, have 6 electric furnaces, and 18 production lines (14 for perfume bottles, 4 for glass tableware).
