Founded in 1882 by George C. Lunt and Anthony Towle in Greenfield, Massachusetts. In 1902, George Lunt took over full responsibility of Lunt Silversmiths and it has remained a family business since.
Lunt's goal is to manufacture the finest sterling tableware and giftware. Lunt currently manufactures thousands of items in their Greenfield warehouse including the flatware pattern Embassy Scroll, used and chosen by the US Goverenment as their official tableware.
Lunt owns and operates Heritage Cutlery, a US factory in New York where they manufacture specialty scissors.
Lunt is also sold in France under the name of Couzon and is the only US distributor for fine staineless steel tableware. Couzon makes high quality 18/10 stainless steel flatware and tabletop accessories designed in France.
