Picnic Time

Picnic Time was founded in 1982 by Mario Tagliati and Gustavo Cosaro who were originally from Italy.

Tagliati & Cosaro's former business was a successful gourmet and wine store, famous for their holiday baskets. They wanted to create a unique line of gifts that could be given all year round, so they decided to make high-quality picnic baskets. Soon other retailers wanted to purchase these baskets wholesale for their own stores. They realized they had a great gift to offer people, and so became Picnic Time.

In 1987, Tagliati & Cosaro created the world's first insulated picnic backpack and have continued to create new, uselful and interesting ideas.

Picnic Time believes that picnics are a joy to the soul; they allow people to reconnect with nature and savor the company of others.
