Studio Vertu

Studio Vertu was founded over 10 years ago by Mark Schmidt.

Schmidt's original idea was to creat lightweight Fresco tile to replace marble tiles or hand-painted murals. His largest project was a mural in New York City, of the National Football League.

Since the large murals were hard to market, Schmidt soon created the idea for marble coasters to create sales.

In 1995, Studio Vertu produced 10 sets of Italian Marble Coasters, each with four different images. Next came marble trivets, marble clocks, marble magnets, and more, creating a product line.

Studio Vertu went from having 40 images to over 800 images. The product line now consists of: coasters, magnets, clocks, trivets, journals, glass plates, canisters, framed pieces and maple and aluminum wall decor.

Studio Vertu's goal is to provide customers with a high quality product at the best price possible.
