With its unmistakable gobble and huge size, it's difficult to confuse the Wild Turkey with any other bird. Averaging 16 pounds, they are the largest game birds in North America and are found across much of the United States. Wild Turkeys prefer forest habitats where they forage for plant material, seeds, insects and even small amphibians. Males use their huge tail feathers for display. This bird measures approx. 6 inches.
