First introduced in about 1929, the Mayflower pattern from Spode has been revived and is celebrating a overwhelmingly positive comeback. Printed on the classic Gadroon shape, Mayflower is a wonderful imperialware pattern that is now both dishwasher and microwave safe. Adorned with a beautiful violet floral border, a design that dates back to 1831 when it was known as British Flowers, Mayflower is reminicent of an English garden in full bloom. The center of each plate, and interior of the teacup is adorned with a bountiful boquet of pink and purple flowers, mixed with green leaves and golden detailing.
