In the early 1900s, produce sellers cried their wares as their patient equine partners pulled their wagons along. Breyer Animal Creations' "Old Timer," originally sculpted by Christian Hess in 1966, is reminiscent of this time in our history. He seems to stand sleepily at ease, waiting to head back to the barn for a good night's rest after pulling his master's cart through the city streets. Offered in a glossy "honey" palomino, Noddy recalls models produced in the late 1960s. Used on the Family Arabian Stallion, Mare and Foal, Five Gaiter, and Fighting Stallion molds, this color with its high gloss finish creates the illusion of ceramic. No detail is spared, from the brass fittings on Noddy's molded harness to the realistic eyewhites behind his blinders! As part of Breyer Animal Creations' Collector Edition series, Noddy is limited to production from June-December 2004. This series teams up nostalgic colors never before produced on specific molds. In his 38 year history, the "Old Timer" mold has only been released eight times in the Breyer model horse Traditional Series!
