Central to the charm of Spode's Woodland pattern are the striking hand painted studies of different animals on each piece. Each piece of Woodland is its own masterpiece, framed by the rich "British Flowers" border, a Victorian design from the Spode archives.

The Woodland American Wildlife Collection is a new introduction to Spode's Woodland family. Focusing on animals indigenous to North America the collection consists of the Black Bear, Mule Deer, Bison and Bighorn Sheep. Each piece within the collection focuses on a touching "mother and child" theme. The 12oz. Bighorn Sheep Beverage Mug depicts a mother sheep and her young roaming the landscape, with distant Bison on the opposite side.
