The designs of Spode's Judaica Colleciton are based on historic Jewish manuscripts from the 1800's, early ceramic tile motifs that were influenced by prevailing Persian styles. The designs respectfully feature the blue and white colors of the flag of Isreal. The dominant motif consists of stylized flowers and vines, interwoven on most pieces amongst the straight edged Star of David.

The Mezuzah Case holds the Mezuzah which is a handwritten parchment scroll containing two chapters from the Torah in Hebrew. The case protectsthe Mezuzah scroll and can be found affixed to the doorpost of a Jewish home.
