The year 2006 marks the 250th anniversary of Austria's Riedel glassmaking dynasty, and of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as well. To celebrate, Riedel has introduced a new line of crystal barware affectionately named Amadeo after the beloved composer. Crafted from lead-free crystal, the Amadeo tumblers are shaped similarly to Riedel's popular "O" glasses, but with glamorous details that are exclusive to Amadeo. This Amadeo water tumbler, for instance, features a stunning textured design on the bottom that is amplified and distorted when filled with liquid for a very pleasing and visually arresting effect.
These ultra-cool and beautifully shaped tumblers' elegant lines lean toward a contemporary look; however, they will blend easily with whatever dinnerware you use. This glass can be used with ease everyday, but will definitely draw your guests' attention on those special occasions. Special orders are available at no extra charge.
