Wild Republic Steller's Jay Audubon Bird with Real Calls Great news for all bird enthusiasts! Wild Republic has entered into a partnership with the National Audubon Society to create a line of realistic-looking plush beanbag birds. This partnership also includes the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, which has provided the authentic sounds for each bird to further add to the realism of these plush toys. Ages 3+.
This Steller's Jay call was recorded March 19, 1989, in the state of Washington, and was a call for group coordination and to attract a mate.
Found in western parts of Canada and the United States, the Steller's Jay is the only crested jay regularly found in the west. It is more common in wooded areas, parks, and campgrounds. Though most of its winter diet is made up of seeds and nuts, it has a more varied diet in the summer that includes insects and small animals. It nests in the trees, sometimes up to 100 feet above ground. | Manufacturer | Wild Republic | | Manufacturer's Part No. | 79546 | | Suggested Retail Price | 7.00 | | Our Price | 5.99 | | Size | 6" | | Category | Stuffed Animals | | Material | Plush | | Collection | Audubon Birds | | Ages | 3+ | Qty: | | Ready to Order? | | List Price: | $7.00
