Spode has made lighting accoutrements for more than 200 years, from simple candle holders to elaborate chandeliers. This numbered limited-edition Signature Collection Blue Room nightlight is a new interpretation of a Staffordshire shape. The Nightlight Candle is decorated with the Rural Scenes pattern, which was first introduced in about 1850 and was derived from paintings by the artist E. Duncan which were purchased by Spode in the 19th century. Engravings were made from the rural scenes within the paintings to create this lovely pastoral pattern. (One blue taper candle included.)
Each piece in the Blue Room Signature Collection is limited in its edition size to 750 and comes with a certificate of authenticity that highlights the history of the item's shape and pattern.
