About the White-Faced Saki Monkey
Saki monkeys are identified by their thick and shaggy black coats and long, bushy tails. Their habitat is the tropical rainforest, where they spend most of their time in trees. They rarely come down to the ground unless their food source becomes scarce. Their diet consists of fruit, honey, leaves, flowers, and even small mammals like bats. Usually seen alone or in pairs, sakis can live in groups of up to five monkeys.
