About the Parasaurolophus
This 33-foot long dinosaur lived between 65 and 75 million years ago. It had a bony crest up to 6 feet in length on its head and had a duck-billed snout. Scientists think the crest may have been used to make special sounds, or as an adaptation that gave this animal a good sense of smell. This plant-eater's only defense against predators was probably its ability to run fast.
