Meet Lisha. Her name, pronounced LEE-shah, means "mysterious" in African. Mysterious she is. In fact, some believe that she can hypnotize weak-minded monkeys just with her eyes.

Lisha is a ring-tailed lemur. Lemurs are best known for their eerie eyes, which seem to glow at night. Adding to the mysterious look, lemurs have fox-like faces and nostrils like dogs.

Among the many lemurs is the ring tailed lemur, whose tail is marked with alternate rings of black and white. Though these tails look big and strong, lemurs cannot hang from them.

Ring tailed lemurs are found only in Madagascar, the Comoro Islands, and your bedroom. She is seventeen inches from head to toe.
