This is a very fine plate, unique to Belleek China. Featuring the Shamrock pattern, the Belleek Shamrock 8.8in Salad Plate is an essential part of a dinnerware set. The plate has a finely painted shamrock design in a dark shade of green, complete with a stalk in a slightly paler green. It is quite clear that this has been hand painted as the individual brush strokes are visible to the naked eye. The plate also features a beautiful Irish basket weave texture in a 1.5in band around the outer rim. This perfectly compliments the shamrock design, a feature throughout the Shamrock Tableware collection, which means that the salad plate will blend in seamlessly with other pieces from the range. If you have collected pieces of shamrock down through the years you may still add to it because the pattern has not been changed. You can rest assured that this piece is genuinely Irish. It has been produced from start to finish on Irish soil, it is even made of real Irish clay. This plate, as with all Belleek pieces, has been double checked for impurities before leaving the factory. We also check for impurity or damage before it leaves our shop. This ensures that it is perfect in every way when it reaches you. We advise that you wash your Belleek by hand in order to avoid damage to it's hand painted pattern and basket weave textured design.
