A miniature picture of perfection, Heartland Equality, the chestnut Hackney pony stallion, was a total presence in the show ring, with his phenomenal front-leg action matched with a near-perfect hind step. He earned the Hackney Pony World Grand Championship three times, and was Hackney Pony of the Year, Hackney Pony of the Decade and Hackney Pony of the Century! Now retired from the show ring, he stands at stud at Heartland Hackney Farm of New London, Iowa.
